As a private, non-profit organization with limited resources and abilities to accommodate volunteers with mental, physical, or behavioral disabilities, we ask that the volunteer or parent/guardian notify the Volunteer Coordinator of any potential limitations or special circumstances. We reserve the right to only accept applicants who can meet the requirements of the volunteer job description. We do not fulfill court-ordered or pre-trial intervention community service hours. This rule applies to all volunteer opportunities including DIY projects and donations.

About Our Program
The Greenville Humane Society’s popular Volunteer Program is open to those who are:
- Dedicated and hard-working individuals
- Passionate about animals and making a difference
- Able to perform duties such as: exercising animals, cleaning kennels, washing dishes and handling laundry.
With our recent campus expansion, we now have three different buildings where volunteer support would be truly appreciated: Adoption Center, Medical Center, The Healing Place. Requirements to volunteer in these facilities differ – click the building photos below to learn about the various opportunities.
