Donate to our New Home For the Animals and Our Community Campaign

You can help the Greenville Humane Society create a new home where the animals are the heroes! Our new state-of-the-art adoption center and expanded spay/neuter clinic will serve both the animals and Greenville residents. The For the Animals and Our Community Campaign is a two phase campaign. The first phase seeks to raise $1.75 million - of which $710,000 is in hand (through donations, operational revenue and gifts-in-kind). The goal of the first phase is to raise $1 million by the end of 2011 to complete our new home on Airport Road. This will give Greenville a wonderful new place with expanded services to care for animals and the people who love them to come together.

Phase 1: To renovate an existing 10,000 square foot location on Airport Road to house an expanded animal clinic and enhanced adoption center. Total cost: $1.75 million

Phase 2: Once our new home to care for the animals is complete, the second phase will be to transform the three-acre campus into an outdoor destination. Total cost: $500,000

The Greenville Humane Society is independent from any national animal welfare or humane organization. Although national organizations, such as The Humane Society of the United States and the American Humane Association, are also non-profit groups, their focus is generally on national trends and concerns, whereas our focus is on local ones. We do not receive any financial assistance from these groups. If you wish to support your local humane society, your contribution must come directly to us.
