Success! Continue

I, Theodore Roosevelt

Am part of The Society.

I will spread the word about the good work The Society is doing in adoption, in clinic services and in community outreach.

I will rub bellies and scratch ears.

I will support the local businesses that support The Society. And maybe get a deal or two along the way.

I will do my part to make Greenville a better place.

I will have fun doing it.

You're In!

Thanks for becoming a member of The Society. Be sure to watch your e-mail for special offers and announcements. Once you've downloaded your temporary membership card, you can print it out and come see us at 305 Airport Road to get your permanent card and car window decal.

Surgery Appointment Day Requirements

  1. Print, complete, and bring 2 copies of the Surgery Release Form
  2. For pets 6 years & older: Print, complete, and bring 2 copies of the Surgery Waiver Form
  3. Print, complete, and bring 2 copies of the Microchip Registration Form (if bringing in your pet for microchip implantation).
  4. Read post-surgery instructions.
  5. Animals must be current on the following vaccines:
    • Rabies (for animals 12 weeks of age & older)
    • Distemper (DA2PPV/FVRCP)
  6. Provide a copy of your current vaccine records. If you cannot provide proof of Rabies & Distemper vaccines, they will be administered at the time of surgery for $7 each. Note: a vaccine tag is not sufficient proof of current vaccines.
  7. 9 AM is REQUIRED SURGERY DROP OFF TIME: All surgical patients are briefly examined by a vet, weighed, and pre-medicated before surgery begins at 9 AM. We cannot accept late spay neuter arrivals (after 9 AM) due to the fact that it takes staff away from monitoring patients that are already anesthetized. Pets will be rescheduled for surgery as soon as possible according to openings on the Spay Neuter Clinic surgery calendar.

Note: We strongly recommend routine heartworm testing for dogs and routine feline leukemia/FIV testing for cats.
