Unique Pet Matching Service    

To better serve our customers, the Greenville Humane Society has created a new customized matching service for pets and potential owners.  This service, known as the Best Friend Finder (BFF), combines a high level of customer service with a keen knowledge of the personalities and temperament of the pets in our Adoption Center.  This unique service helps in 2 ways:

• Breed Specific Waiting List - If you know exactly what breed of dog/cat you want, you can sign up for our BFF breed specific waiting list. We will call you when a pet matching your requirements comes in. You are then first in line to meet the pet to be sure you like his temperament and personality before adopting him.  Since 30% of the pets in our Adoption Center are pure bred, the comment we most often hear is “We had no idea you could adopt a pet of this caliber from the Greenville Humane Society—what a value!”    Click here to fill out the BFF Breed Waiting List form.   
   
• Lifestyle/Pet Temperament Matching - Finding the right dog or cat for your lifestyle is key to both you and your new pet’s happiness. We have created a unique, yet simple, questionnaire that you can complete before you visit GHS or while in our Adoption Center. The beauty of this matching process is that our staff takes the time to assess all of the adult dogs and cats in our Adoption Center. This way you can match the qualities that are important to you with a dog or cat that is ready to go home.
